Peggy Lee (Mayberry) Powell passed away peacefully at Unity Point Hospital on July 6, 2025. Services will be Sunday July 20, 2025 at Salix United Methodist Church in Salix, IA. Visitation 3:30 to 5 p.m.; Funeral Service at 5 p.m.

I knew her from our Genealogy work and from our shared Leedom group.

I have known Peggy for many years. As Family Historians we both worked on our family trees. We both worked with our local genelogical societies and helped beginners get a good start.
I had the privilege of a very long phone conversation recently. We were catching up on what we doing on our genealogy and bouncing ideas off of each other.
I will miss her wisdom, strength, insight etc in the future. RIP Peggy. See ya on the flip side.
