Robert Mishne passed away on May 15, 2024. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Christy-Smith Funeral Homes and no services will be taking place.

Robert Daniel, son of Josiah S. and Lillian (Edelstein) Mishne, was born September 10, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. When he was a young boy, his mother passed away and his father remarried Sarah Stamm Mishne. She then lovingly filled the role of stepmother.

After serving in the Navy during World War II, Robert obtained his bachelor's degree from Marquette University and law degree from Columbia Law School. He practiced law in Cleveland for 20 years and in Sioux City for 20 years before retiring in 1989.

Robert was a member of Beth Shalom Temple. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader, especially the Wall Street Journal.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Michael, and is survived by a host of friends.
