To all the Brumfield family, I worked with Alan many times in the years of his Steel Workers trade, He was always very kind and thoughtful,I know Alan went through some very tough times, fighting cancer,He still was a man that really lifted his fellow workers up when they were down,While on lunch breaks he would always talk about working and helping junior baseball leagues which he was very proud of,Alan will always be remembered in my heart as the "Best of the Best" Sorry for your loss but God has a special Angle.

I met Alan through youth baseball. He was always friendly, always rational and always had his heart in the right place. There are hundreds and hundreds of parents who never met him that owe Alan a huge thank you for his service.
Amytime I would see him elsewhere he was as friendly as can be.
I was very appreciative to have know him for the short time I did. The community lost a good one.
