Amber Lue Boehm
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Amber Lue Boehm, 69, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born in Great Bends, Kan., to Anthony and Nora (Miller) Leonetti, who preceded her in death. She married James Boehm on April 12, 1980.
She is survived by her husband, James; two children, James Paul (Nichole) Boehm II of Crown Point, Ind., and Erich Anthony (Ashley) Boehm of Honolulu, Hawaii; one grandchild, Amelia Boehm; a brother, Timothy (Chris) Leonetti of Sherman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Amber was a resident of Sherman most of her life. She was a member of St. John Vianney Church, a homemaker, floral designer, member of Home Extension and Quilting Club. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and decorative work.
Visitation: 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Staab Funeral Home.
A second visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at St. John Vianney Church.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at St. John Vianney Church. Burial will follow at Farmington Cemetery.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I will always have great memories of her, especially when the boys were younger and bowled with our boys.

What a beautiful sweet talented lady Amber was. Until a stroke took her life a different turn. She clould cook, crochet, sew, make quilts, was excellant flower arranger. She wanted her own flower shop, but it was not to be. Rest in peace my friend. You will be walking, talking and having your own flower shop in heaven. God bless. Helen Poe
