I am truly sorry to hear of Ann's passing. We only communicated through Christmas cards the last few decades. She was a great friend to have in grade school and through high school. Our mothers had gone through grade school together and then we became friend. I hung out at the O'Toole/Murphy house on 14th street a lot. I was even thought to be Mary Ellen's sister instead of Ann because Mary Ellen and I were the red headed ones. I often think about the whole family and remember how loving they all were.
Andy, I believe I was in your wedding and still have some pictures of that. Ann was so sweet and kind and loving. I only wish she hadn't moved so far away and we could have seen each other over the years.
I am sorry I never got to meet your boys. I am sure they are as loving and kind as their mother.
To Mary Ellen and Michael- hello and sorry for your loss. Memories of the old neighborhood in Springfield will always be a good memory for me.
I would love to hear from all of you if you have time to write an email, [email protected] My condolances to all.

Ann O'Toole Caster is our sister and we felt that friends and family in Springfield would want to know of her passing. She loved her time in Springfield where she grew up, went to school and had many friends. Ann was always proud of her Springfield roots. Her loss to our family is completely beyond words. We loved her so much, and cannot believe she is no longer with us.
