Sorry for your loss, when your Dad left this plane (world) he was instantly with the Lord. There is no pain or suffering: now, and soon he will have that resurrected body to run, jump, fly and praise the Creator of the Universe. Naturally we will grieve for him, but he, is in a better place and worrying about nothing. Rejoice, I say rejoice, he is in the presence of the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
P.S. He has kicked off those shoes and is dancing.

As you cross this threshold, notice that your identity does not disappear. Even with no image to look at and no body, you remain what you really are - a viewing awareness that stays the same even though the scenery of your life constantly changes. Death is just a rearrangement. Nothing dies at the moment of death. Death is a beginning, not an ending, never to cease to exist. Nature takes things away for its own good reasons at its own good time. Underneath is the steady light of the eternal, which shines through everything. Rest in Peace Uncle Clarence. Sending the Clarence Stowe, Sr. family our love.
