Was thinking about Dave and googled his name and found out about his passing. Sorry to hear it, I knew Dave thru work, playing volleyball with him and socializing with him. I moved away in 1983 to Florida. R.I.P. Dave from a friend.

Dave was a passionate man who loved his friends dearly.
I first met him about 6 years ago when he called when one of our commerical aired during Raw. He must've kept me on the phone for an hour. Heh. I'd do anything to shoot the breeze with him like that now.
He was one of the nicest people I've ever met and a positive rock amongst a sea of negativity at all times.
Love ya, man. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I first met David seven years ago. He never hesitated if I needed a favor. Sometimes I felt I might be imposing on him, but even if I was he was always there. I'll miss his wit and his knowledge. I don't know how formally educated he was, but he seemed to know at least a little about almost anything. I know this life hasn't always been easy for him, and hope he's in a better place now.

I considered Dave a good friend as well as a valued former co-worker. Shared a lot of laughs with him. Take care, Dave, from one of your former "Lobby Loafers" crew.

I was surprised to hear that he had passed. He had an excellent ability to come up with one-liners, wisecracks, and insults to rile up a crowd when he played his character at wrestling events around central Illinois. Farewell.
