Mom always enjoyed her friendship with Aunt Evy on the many trips they took with Dad and Uncle Gerald. She was a great lady.

Aunt Evelyn (and Uncle Gerald) brought me much joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Their presence at family dinners, picnics, weddings etc. enriched my life and I am grateful, indeed, for the precious memories. Aunt Evelyn was always interested in my family and I loved her carefully typed notes at Christmastime.

Being married to my brother Gerald, Evelyn was the last one of my siblings or their spouses to survive. I miss them all so much and the wonderful good times we had together

Aunt Evelyn was always such a fun person to be around. She had a way of saying it like it was. She and Uncle Gerald were engaged at the time of my wedding but didn't tell anyone because they didn't want to take anything from my wedding. It would have been fine with me. I loved them both.

Evelyn was a fine and lovely lady. She was always welcoming of any church members who would visit. She greeted us with a smile and when we left, a "Glad you came." What a wonderful person! -Carli Burton, First United Methodist Church

I have many fond memories of Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Gerald. My brother and I spent lots of time with them growing up. She always had a great wit about her. I am glad I got to visit with her in Nov. and will miss her. Arlene Zimmerman Bruhn ( Lafayette, CO)

I among many others had the privilege of caring for Evelyn at Concordia Village. She had a great sense of humor and quite witty. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Aunt Evelyn was married to my Uncle Gerald for 39 years. Family gatherings were always wonderful times together--much bonding and laughter! Some cousins appreciated your back door open for a brief retreat from the Lake gathering--driving at 16!!
Remembering you always,

Evelyn was a dear neighbor to Frances Turner and Christine MillerMcDevitt.
I visited her several times at Concordia and before that on Governor. Always the lady and friend. When Frances died she said to me," Now don't you forget me."
May you rest in peace,Evelyn.

I worked with Evy at Dept. of Revenue in the late 60's. She was such a witty and fun gal.
