Gregory Manning Obituary
TAMPA, Fla. - Gregory Everett Manning, 31, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Nov. 16, 2009.
He was a graduate of Chatham Glenwood High School (Illinois) and the University of South Carolina. Greg was an avid Tampa Bay Rays and University of South Carolina Gamecocks fan. He enjoyed playing golf, kick ball, darts and pool with the guys and spending time at the beach. Mr. Manning was a franchise owner of Marco's Pizza and spent the last two years of his life establishing stores in the Tampa area. He is survived by his wife, Dusti; two month old son, Brayden; mother, Penny Slightom Walsh and stepfather, Thom Walsh; brother, Ryan; grandmother Eva Slightom; father, Gregory R. Manning (Illinois); and last, but not least, two Boston Terrier dogs, Abbi and Riley. Visitation Nov. 19, 2-4:00 p.m. Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, Fla., followed by a 5:00 p.m. worship service at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W. I knew Greg the best as being Ryan’s older brother but he also was the only person I knew in Tampa when I first moved down here. He was a great guy that had everything in the world going for him. He will always be missed. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you during this difficult time.
