SPRINGFIELD, IL - Jagdeep S. Dhamrait, 53, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at St. John's Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1961, in Ludhiana Punjab, India, the son of Jagat and Kailash Manger Dhamrait.
Jagdeep is survived by his parents, his sister, Preeteka (husband, Ron Griffin) and his brother, Dr. Raj (wife, Kiran Kakalla-Dhamrait) Dhamrait, his niece, Alexis, and nephew, Jatin.
Private family services were held.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bischandsonfuneralhome.com.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity of meeting Jag, but I can see by reading so many messages of the staff at Lincoln and JDC that he brought a lot of sunshine and joy into many lives. Perhaps that was his gift, to bring happiness to others. He obviously was deeply loved. My condolences to the Dhamrait family.

Preteeka & family, I will miss seeing Jag when I visit BJC. I would sit in the TV room with the guys & Jag would bring me his shoes & socks. Then he would sit down next to me waiting for me to put his shoes & socks on him. I would fulfill his request & then he would take them off wanting me to put them on him again! LOL What a guy! Jag will be sorely missed! Peace & joy in your memories.

He would make me smile when he would be walking and stop to do his little spins everyone said that meant he was happy and he made me happy too.
