Marilyn Kay Hickey
LOAMI - Marilyn Kay Hickey, 69, of Loami, IL died at 12:40 pm, Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Auburn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 10, 1943 in Springfield, IL to Emmett Ray and Betty Jean Madison Suter.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty J. "Bea Jay" (Randy) Kendall of Loami and Carol A. (John) Willey of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Erica (Trent) Floyd, Anthony (fiancé: LeAnn Trembley) Kendall, Fallon (Fiance: Brandon Kline) Kendall, Amanda (Fiance: Greg Petravicz) Kendall, Cody (Fiance: Brittany Kyle) Kendall, Paige Kendall and Brandy Kendall; seven great grandchildren, Dax, Caitlyn, Connor, Gianna, Chloe, Dominic and Delilah; four brothers, Michael Suter of Springfield, Danny (Margaret) Suter of Springfield, Jeff (Pam) Phillips of Atlanta, IL and Randy (Michelle) Phillips of Springfield; one aunt, Gail Peters and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her mother, Betty J. Phillips, and three sisters, Donna Ferguson, Pat Howlett and Barb Verardi preceded her in death.
Marilyn retired from the State of Illinois Department of Revenue.
She loved her animals and helped rescue and find homes for homeless animals. She was an excellent cook.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Sending prayers and hugs for Marilyn's family at this time of loss. She was a kind, caring, loving, funny lady that I really enjoyed spending time with!
