Betsy & Chris, Mr. & Mrs. Dennison and Dennison family,

We were so saddened to hear the news of Matt's passing this past week...truly feeling your pain, loss and sorrow.

We want you to know that Matt will be with you always...he will live on in spirit and you'll see that often in the things and people around you...and it will amaze and comfort you, just when you need it.

We know the pain of losing a child, the pain of losing a sibling...so we offer our ear to listen, to cry, to help you feel the warmth of hope. Call anytime.

May the good Lord bring you peace, comfort and healing today and during the tough days ahead. We pray that your faith remains strong...you will need to draw on it often.

We pass along this Psalm that a good friend passed on to us 4 years ago after we suddenly lost our 4 year old daughter Christine:

Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.

As the passing days turn into months and years, you will certainly grow to understand what God means when He says 'Do not be afraid, I am with you...'

Our hearts are heavy today. We will keep Matt, the family and friends in our daily prayers. We know that your faith, family and friends will help you make it through this challenging and sorrowful time...light will prevail over darkness.

May the Peace and Grace of God be with you today and everyday.

Angie and children, I had the priviledge to work under Matt. I work in the traffic division. Matt had sunshine in his face when he smiled. Matt loved you Angie and the children so. I know he would deny himself for the good of this family and friends. Working deligently, Matt had a humble and quiet spirit even with his long long days, and much needed sleep, but this didn't seem to bother him. I could see his strength. He forged ahead in the work that need to be done without any complaints. He had compassion for others, even in his own troubles he had a silent peace. He was a wonderful boss in how he handled all our different personalities, in being a peacemaker and encourager and always had a compliment to give. Matt did not liveth for himself, he was always about others. I had a few opportunities to pray with Matt, it did my heart good and I know his as well. I will miss Matt. I will continue to pray for you Angie, and your children, for peace and joy to return to you. Let Jesus hold you now.

I worked with Matt for about nine years and this came
as a huge shock to us all and I still am having a hard time believing it even happened. You can tell that everyone that has already signed this guest book knew him very well because every statement that each one made is so very true. Matt was a very loved individual and will be sadly missed by many. He was a wonderful friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be watching over you from above.

I worked with Matt at the Clerk's office for over 3 years. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. It came as a shock and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family as well as my former co-workers. He was well liked and respected by everyone up there from the state's attorneys to the judges. I was always impressed about how much he knew and his ability to solve any problem you brought him. He used to joke with me and always appologized thinking I would be offended until I assured him that I love a good joke, after that we always joked to each other. He will be missed at the county building and by all his friends.

November 25, 2009

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
