Robert F. Reisch
PETERSBURG - Robert Fredrick Reisch, 87, of Petersburg died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at St. John's Hospital.
He was born Jan. 30, 1920, in Springfield, the son of Carl and Audrey Lyons Reisch. He married Jo Anne Eades in 1952 in Union City, Tenn.; she died in 2001.
Mr. Reisch a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, earning the rank of sergeant and serving in New Guinea and the Philippines. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, master's degree from Yale University and doctorate from West Virginia Medical Institute. He had been chief toxicologist in a Washington, D.C. laboratory.
Survivors: sister, Anne Reisch of Springfield.
Cremation will be accorded. No services are planned.
Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is in charge of arrangements.
