Ted was one of the good guys. He always had a smile on his face. I have a lot of funny memories of Ted. He drove Tracie and I home every night Freshman year at Ursuline. We would walk down to Mel-o-cream get a doughnut and soda and wait on the corner for him to pull up in his truck. We would hop in the back and off we'd go. When it was cold, we'd sit in the cab and complain about his choice of music. It took me awhile to appreciate a good country song. But my favorite story was the time he let Tracie and I pick what he was going to be for Halloween. Of course we came up with the most ridiculous thing we could think of. A genie. We got an old unflattering Grandma bra decorated it with sequins, a slip jazzed up with with flowing scarves and more sequins, topped with a a very tall pointy hat with more scarves. Oh did we laugh when he walked out in that crazy getup. He wore it and he went to the party in it. What a good sport! He even let us take pictures lots of pictures. Thinking of him in that costume still makes me smile. That was Ted he always made me smile. When I grew up and got a job at the zoo every so often he'd be in the area and he would holler and wave with a big smile on his face. He always looked for me to say Hi. He's got an old friend waiting on him Tracie. Grandpa is up there showing him around and talking politics. Boy do they have a lot to catch up on.

What a sweet, loving man he was! I don't think they make them much better. I'll never forget Uncle Ted. To Tracie, Teddy and the rest of the Tinsley family, my love and heart is with you as you move through the difficult days ahead.

Teddy, sorry to hear about your fathers passing ... He was a good man who would do anything for anybody , he raised you right. I remember when I moved to Springfield and he would just pop over to see if we needed anything at the house .. just remember all the good times , all the games, family functions, and all of us yelling at the tv because of the Irish... you know he would want me to say it "Go Irish"
