ARNOLD SODERBERG Obituary
He was born on May 25, 1929, in Seattle, WA, the son of Arvid and Ethel (Hanson) Soderberg. He grew up in Ferndale, where he farmed with his father. He also worked as a logger for 9 years, and then worked as a millwright for Sedro-Woolley Lumber for 30 years, retiring in 1991, after which he then returned to farming on Minkler Road in Sedro-Woolley.
Arnold was united in marriage to Darlene Bryant on October 4, 1957 and they made their home in Sedro-Woolley.
He was a long-time member of the Eagles; he loved to fish and hunt, and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
Arnold is survived by his son, Rick; 2 granddaughters, Shelly and Melissa; 6 grandsons, David, Danny, Ronnie, Randy, Billy, and Clint; 2 great-granddaughters, Savahnna and Elizabeth; his brother, Howard; sister-in-law, Joyce; and his constant companion, his dog, Bear.
Arnold was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene and sons, Randall and Ronald.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley followed by inurnment at the Greenhills Cemetery in Burlington. A potluck gathering will follow at the Riverfront Park in Sedro-Woolley.

Arnold was a big part of my life early on in my career in the lumber business.I would walk up the stairs to the planer and he always had advice or a comment on how the wood was running , and usually a big ol smile! at breaks we talked about bette wood ,hunting and fishing...Those days are long gone but I will always remember them. RIP My Sweet Arnold.. You were the best uncle I could ever wish for. I will never forget you. I so enjoyed hanging out with you over the last few years. Don't forget to tell Dad, I miss him..
