Bobbie Neble Obituary

Mount Vernon - Bobbie Jean Neble, the youngest of 6 siblings, was born to parents Frank and Sophie Neble on July 23, 1945, in Everett, Washington. She was raised on the family dairy farm on the Skagit River near Sedro-Woolley. She attended Lyman Elementary, Cascade Junior High, and graduated as valedictorian from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1963. She then attended Skagit Valley College while helping her mom, Sophie, with the milking. Bobbie graduated from the University of Washington with a biology degree. She taught junior high science for 7 years in Renton.

Bobbie married her husband, David Boulton, in 1974 and relocated back to the Skagit Valley. She worked for Hansen Peterson Feed for many years. She traveled widely with her mother and husband. An expert on all things farm-related, Bobbie also cruised on her motorcycle, was very artistic, and was an excellent seamstress. Bobbie participated for many years selling Barbie and American Girl style doll clothes in craft fair circles. She and David loved to take back road driving trips in their Mustang convertible with the music playing. They also road tripped to many casinos up and down the coast.

Bobbie was predeceased by her parents, siblings and nephew, Steve Neble. Survived by her husband, David, her niece, Stacey Neble (husband Mike and children Claire, Todd, and Dana Matsunami) and 3 nephews-John, James, and Andy (Alaska and Georgia) and their families. She lived the last 18 months at Creekside Memory Care where she passed away on May 19 from dementia.

David, we will always remember you and Bobbie bringing dozens of jigsaw puzzles into the Humane Society Thrift Shop. Both of you were laughing and joking and enjoying life together so much! Please take care and cherish those memories!
