Brent was always so good to everyone. Karl saw him about three weeks ago and was able to give him a hug. What a blessing that was! We are praying for the family and hope they feel all the love that heals the hurting heart!

My husband Kim and I have been going into E&E Lumber for the past 35 years. Everytime we went in, we were greeted by Brent with a warm smile and friendly help. When our daughter Lindsey was young, she and Carmell would hang out at the store after school until Lori or I could take them home. Lois and Gil have always been dear to me. The entire Emory family is in my heart and prayers. May God comfort you in your sorrow.

I met Brent in fourth grade. Then as we got older we played Baseball and Basketball in Marysville Little League. When we were in Middle school and Jr. High and High School we would see each other but after we grew up I moved down South by Tacoma and we didn't see each other for 20 plus years. I moved back to Marysville and was buying supplies from E&E and we saw each other and it was like we weren't apart . He will be truly missed by all who knew and Loved him! RIP My Friend!! Until we meet again!!

I am sorry for your loss. Our lives and families have been intertwined for decades. Dad ( Larry Hartsock) said it best he said it was like losing a son. I feel like I have lost a brother. Your grief is almost insurmountable. May you all find peace love and comfort from one another.

To the entire Emory Family and his uncountable E&E family... I can´t even fathom what you are all going through right now! Brent was what to young to leave this world. I have known Brent and the Emory´s since I was 17, drove passed there house everyday off of 88th when my folks lived back there. Through the years I always looked forward to seeing him at the store in Marysville, he would always give me a hard time, which I looked forward too. Brent did business with my dad and uncle for years. I am shocked... even though I moved away from Washington years ago, I thought of him often, every time I put my E&E jacket... that I still wear! Rest easy my brother... until we meet again

Susan, Lois, Gil, Lori and family
Brent and I have known each other since young kids growing up. From being teased in Elementary school for spending too much time in front of the mirror combing our hair to playing youth athletics to high school shenanigans and even our Senior year road trip to Lake Tahoe in the Emory family van.
The wonderful wedding of Susan and Brent as well. Brent and I lost touch for a few years, then back in touch. No matter how long between talking we always picked up where we left off. He was a good friend for life and I will always appreciate his generosity and outlook on life.
We had some good talks, many in his upstairs office of E & E.
Thank you for sharing a great man not only with me but the many other lives he touched.
Ill miss you buddy and ill miss your big bear hugs and what you always said to me. You will always be in my thoughts and in many ways putting a smile on my face. Until we meet again.
LOVE YOU BUDDY!
