COLLEEN BLOUIN Obituary

September 24, 1965 -
May 11, 2018

On May 11, 2018 we lost our beautiful angel, Colleen Marie Dorgan Blouin, 52 passed away unexpectedly at her home.

Colleen was born on September 24, 1965 in Seattle and adopted by Timothy Patrick Dorgan and Kathy Loraine Wellander Dorgan when she was 4 days old.

Colleen graduated with the class of 1983 from Inglemoor High school where she was a standout student and Athlete participating in a variety of sports but her passion was soccer where her speed and agility earned her the leading scorer and team captain title.

After graduation she went to work for Seafirst Real Estate Center and excelled to intermediate management level. In 1989 she went to work for Alaska Airlines as a flight attendant, she was a dedicated employee and worked flights over the West Coast and entire system. Colleen shared great stories of her travels and loved her flights to Alaska where her parents lived.

Colleen was a self-motivated hard-working woman and was up for any challenge she faced. After her ten years of flying she co-owned a craft store at Pike place market. In 2002 she went to work for Metropolis Pictures as a production assistant and bookkeeper. In 2010 she moved to Idaho to live near her parents and Co-owned Griswold Home care.

Colleen's love of music started at a very young age. She had the voice of an angel and loved to share her talents singing karaoke any chance she had or she could jump on stage with a live band and not miss a beat. Colleen had an unmatched knowledge of all types of music and her beautiful voice will be missed. Colleen and Les shared a love of music and met at a concert, it was love at first sight. They both knew that god had brought them together that night. Les and Colleen were married on July 12, 2015 on the banks Of Skaha Lake in Penticton, BC and honeymoon Kauai.

Colleen is survived by her husband Les Blouin, step sons Braden and Bryson Blouin of Sedro-Woolley. Sister-in-laws Dawn Trout and JoElla McFarland of Grants Pass, Oregon, brother in-law Stacey Blouin of Mount Vernon. Her father Timothy Dorgan and mother Kathy Dorgan of Winchester Idaho and brother Mike Dorgan of Portland, Oregon.

Colleen was preceded in death by her brother Timmy Dorgan, her Paternal grandmother Evelyn J Dorgan paternal grandfather Maurice E Dorgan her maternal grandmother Ethel Wellander her maternal grandfather Murray J Wellander and her special friend and co-flight attendant Nicole Grund Crickman.

A celebration of Colleen's life will be held on June 9, 2018 at the Blanchard Chapel 3685 Legg Road Bow, WA starting with the reading of her eulogy at 1:00 and fellowship and refreshments until 3:00 pm.
