DAVID PARTINGTON Obituary

David F. Partington, age 67, a long time resident of Skagit Valley, passed away surrounded by his family at Skagit Valley Hospital on Friday, April 16, 2010.

He was born in Sedro Woolley, Washington on March, 22, 1943, the son of Virgil and Esther ( Borden) Partington.

David was a dedicated member of the Skagit Valley Eagles Aerie #3242. He participated in several fund raising golf tournaments and dinners for the Skagit Valley Eagles.

David is survived by his wife, Linda Holland of Burlington; step-sons, Wayne Longozo of Reno, Nevada, Rick (Kymberly) Hector of Marysville; step-daughter, Shannon (John) Lamb of Burlington; fourteen grandchildren; many friends and also special friends, "Shorty" and Kenny Frye.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2010, 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the Skagit Valley Eagles Aerie #3242, 119 North Cherry Street, Burlington.

In lieu of flowers memorials and donations may be given to the Skagit Valley Eagles Aerie #3242, 119 North Cherry Street Burlington, Washington 98233 or a favorite charity.

Arrangements are under the care of Kern Funeral Home of Mount Vernon.

I knew Dave for over 30 years. We became good friends while working together at Gearhart Ford. He was a true friend with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
