Jill L. Eagle

Burlington - Jill L. Eagle, born April 28, 1961, in Seattle, Washington, passed away on April 19, 2025. She spent most of her life in Burlington, WA, where she raised two boys.

Jill leaves behind her two sons, Zach and Colton Eagle, along with Colton's husband Jonathan Williams, and Zach's wife Jennifer Eagle. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Grace and James. She is also survived by her mother, Carole Fernandes; her siblings, Lisa Bartlett and Jeff Fernandes; and her niece, Carissa Sharratt. She is preceded in death by her father, Ron Fernandes, whom she cherished deeply.

Jill loved her children more than anything in the world. She took immense pride in seeing them grow into strong men who found love, built families, created successful careers and served in the United States military. She was also a devoted and passionate lover of all animals, especially her cherished horse, Sugar, her beloved dogs and cats, and even her feisty little chicken, Pip Pip, who brought her so much joy and laughter. Her animals were not just her pets - they were her family too.

Jill's bling belts were iconic, her wit and sass were unmatched, and her presence could take over any room. Whether it was her signature breakfast of an apple and chocolate milk, her eye for beautiful things in her travels, or the fierce way she loved her family, Jill lived with boldness, humor, and a huge heart. She will be remembered for her passion, her deep love for her children, her love for her country and the men and women who served, and most importantly a love and devotion for the Lord.

Service for her memorial will take place Saturday, April 26, 2025, 12:00 PM at Fir Conway Cemetery in Mt Vernon, Washington.
