KYLE ALLEN DAILEY

February 24, 1986 -
March 4, 2017

Kyle was born February 24, 1986 in Soldotna, Alaska and left us much too soon on March 4, 2017.

Kyle attended school in Anchorage, Alaska until June 2001 when the family moved to Burlington, WA.

Kyle made many friends with his friendly and contagious smile.

Fishing was a passion for Kyle and in 1996, at the age of 10, in Kodiak, Alaska, he reeled in a 110 lb. Halibut and in 1999, at the age of 12, his 125 lb. Sailfish while vacationing in Mexico. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, card games with family and the Annual Kentucky Derby Party. He loved sports and his favorite teams were the Seahawks, Mariners and Sounders. He also had a lifelong love for hockey.

On July 23, 2005 his son Nicholas E. Dailey was born and on January 10, 2009 his daughter Kally A. Dailey was born. He loved them dearly.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father Russell A. Dailey, grandpa Charles R. Dean & grandpa Robert Crim.

He is survived by his children Nick and Kally Dailey of Walla Walla, WA; his parents Donna & Stan Schopf and his brother Shawn Dailey of Burlington, WA; aunts and uncles Gary and Natialene Schopf, Julie O'Neal, Deb O'Neal and grandmother Marian Crim all from Washington; grandmother Norma Knox, aunts and uncles Denny Dean, Randy and Judy Schopf and Greg and Kathy Johnston, all from Alaska; grandparents Joe and Betsy Stimson of Texas and several other family members from Alaska, Washington and Kentucky. He will also be remembered by his many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Kyle on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Burlington Eagles, 119 North Cherry Street, between 2pm and 4pm. Please join us for a casual afternoon gathering.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards his children's educational fund would be appreciated.
