Kyle Burton Davis

1956 - 2022

Lynden Kyle Burton Davis passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, January 24, 2022 surrounded by his wife, Barbara, and his children, Megan and Tyler. Kyle was born in Bellingham, Washington on September 2, 1956 to Marie and Charles Davis. He graduated from Sehome High School in 1974 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Education from Western Washington University. He went on to work as a graphic artist in many studios and later became the owner of RiverCity Screenprinting in Mount Vernon, Washington.

He contributed his time and talents to many organizations in the Skagit County area, including Special Olympics, local schools, and community events. His name hangs on a plaque in the Skagit County Courthouse highlighting his many contributions to Special Olympics. Kyle was a former member of Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church and the Anacortes Congregational Church. He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Kirchner Davis, and his father, Charles Burton Davis. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Davis, and his son, Tyler Davis, of Lynden, Washington, his daughter, Megan Shoemaker and her husband, Zachary Shoemaker, and his three grandsons, Benjamin, Emmett, and Rowan, all of Ennis, Ireland. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Howard, of Mount Vernon, and his brother, James Howard, of Bellingham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
