MARGRETA ESKES Obituary

October 14, 1929 -
April 10, 2018

Margreta B. Eskes, 88, of Mount Vernon, WA passed away peacefully on April 10, 2018 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Margreta was born in Lynden, WA to William and Grace Heusinkveld on October 14, 1929. She graduated from Lynden High School.

Margreta was preceded in death by her husband William Henry Eskes. The two were happily married for 58 years.

Margreta is survived by her 6 children; Barbara (Roger) Tinklenberg, Bill (William) Jay (Amy) Eskes, Darlene (Tony) Stephenson, Joel (Annette) Eskes, Carla (Frank) Inslee, Cheryl Eskes, 20 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Joy (Les) Faber and Wilma (Ivan) Groen.

A Celebration of Life will be held the First Christian Reform Church on West Blackburn in Mount Vernon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00pm.

Donations can be made to Mount Vernon Christian School, 820 W. Blackburn, Mount Vernon, WA 98273

Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.
