Gertrude Ward Obituary
Gertrude B. Ward SUFFOLK - Gertrude Byrum Ward, 93, went to be with the Lord June 4, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Patria Leary Byrum and also predeceased by her husband and son, Raymond M. Ward Sr. and Raymond M. Ward Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Mary W. Turner and Betty W. Winslow of Suffolk; sister, Myrtle Norman of Hertford, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Jonathan E. Rissmiller officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
