I worked with Nadine as the other 6th grade teacher at Conway Schools. She was probably the sweetest soul I have ever had the honor to work with and our community was better for all she gave to it.

Kurt and I (Kim) have many dear memories of Nadine. Always welcoming us at dads and often with treats or a stew for lunch; a hug and a smile. We watched many football games together; heard stories of her family and were treated with photos. My she loved-adored her family!

When dad was dying she was holding his hand and whispering kindness in his ear. That meant so much to me .

Later we would bring lunch to her at her farm house and had wonderful hymn sings; food, laughter and fellowship!

Nadine was a "lady" a rare breed and we loved her very much!

Mrs Larson was an awesome 6th grade teacher! She was always kind and made learning fun. Truly a role model! A life well lived!

As a 6th grader from the 80s who moved all the way from NJ to Conway, WA - I leaned on her a lot but she made my school year full of fun memories that I´ll never forget and my transition to a new town a very seamless one. Still to this day if I see a lemon drop (candy) I think fondly of her. May she Rest In Peace

I met Nadine when buying her nice Ford 5000 tractor . After purchase I would stop by for a visit once in while which turned into ''back in the day'' history lessons for me, she had a great memory of past events. Fun times!

6th grade was a hard time in my life. Family drama plus being so bored with the school work. She was incredibly kind to my sad heart and influenced me to stretch my mind. I remember her reading Old Yeller and showing us the movie.
I thank her for loving us all, encouraging my curiosity and leading me to lifelong learning. One of my very favorite teachers.

Nadine and I had a lot of laughs together at Conway school. We had a deal - when faculty group singing took place- we would stand next to each other and pretend to sing since neither of us were any good at it. Our secret! She was a great friend.

She was my 6th grade teacher. I have nothing but fond memories of here. I will always remember her smile and kindness. One funny memory she liked to watch me run. She thought I was graceful like a deer. When we went to outdoor school she made me run so several teachers coukd watch. Lol. My condolences to the family. I like to think tears are happy memories coming back. Lots of tears will be falling. Hugs to you all

Mrs Larson was my favorite teacher, I only got to have her for on semester, but it was a great time. Probably my best time in school . Rest in peace .

Mrs. Larson was my 6th grade teacher and a dear friend of my in-laws. She will always be remembered for her kindness to me as I was a new kid at Conway School when we moved there in the late `70s and I started middle school, which was pretty much the worst time of life to change schools. So sorry to hear of her passing but know she lived a good life and will always be treasured as a great teacher and person in my life.
