Sharon Robbins Obituary

Mount Vernon - Sharon Eilene Robbins (born July 9, 1943) died on November 14, 2025. A lifelong Skagit Valley resident, Sharon was a wife (Jim Danforth), mother (Renée (Steve Clark) and Nicole Bouvion), sister (Gene and Jim Robbins), aunt, and friend.

She is now at rest with her parents (Howard and Eilene Robbins), brothers (Gerry and John Robbins), son-in-law (Dave Willis), and many other loved ones.

She greatly enjoyed planning and hosting gatherings for family and friends. Sharon always took special care to plan and decorate for each and every party. Being together with loved ones brought her much joy.

Sharon shared her creative side through quilting, knitting, and felting. She made a baby quilt for each new baby in her extended family and regularly donated her handmade items to Hospice of the Northwest Foundation.

She was a proud member of Chapter Two of Territorial Daughters of Washington where she enjoyed exploring the history of the Skagit Valley and shared stories of growing up in La Conner as well as the genealogy of the Robbins, Crumrine, and Kalso families.

Sharon was a force to be reckoned with. She found beauty in everything. She greeted everyone as if they were a friend she had known for years. She will be dearly missed for her lively and generous spirit as well as her beautiful garden and homemade pickles.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Deception Pass Park Foundation (DeceptionPassFoundation.org/donate or 41020 State Route 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277).

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
