TROY BIGHAM, JR. Obituary

Troy (Tex) Otis Bigham Jr., age 88, born in Corpus Christi, TX on February 2nd 1930, passed away on May 8th 2018 in Ontario, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Troy Otis Bigham Sr. and Myrtle Mae Adelphena (Holzheuser) Bigham and his beloved wife Willa.

He is survived by his children Troy Otis Bigham III (Anacortes, WA), Linda Cauwenberghs (Allendale, NJ), Nancy Bigham Heintze (Denham Springs, LA), and step-daughter Julie Davis (Rancho Cucamonga, CA); grandchildren Darrell Vriesema, Kelly Vriesema, Christopher Bigham Ellis (Anacortes, WA), Leyna Tracy (Anacortes, WA), Andrea Bigham (Anacortes, WA), Casey and Katie Davis (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), Tiffany, Alex, Tristan Heintze; great-grandchildren Cassidy Davis, Riley, Scarlett and Cora Tracy (Anacortes, WA) and Kristian Pederson (Anacortes, WA).

He graduated Cuero High School in 1949 in Cuero, TX. Troy proudly served in the United States Navy from 1949 until 1953. He served during the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Ajax in Japan. After leaving the Navy he studied engineering at Citrus College.

He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He was also a talented painter and carpenter. Tex enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood carving, chess, card games, and taking care of his animals. After years of living in California he never lost his sweet southern drawl and disposition. Troy always kept his faith and will be greatly missed by many.
