I am sad to hear of Val´s passing. I knew Val through the Northwest Corner Woodworks Association and his and Laura´s involvement with the NCWA at Sedro-Woolley´s annual WoodFest event for many years. Val was a big supporter and mentor to many beginning and seasoned woodworkers and both he and Laura were strong supporters of local high school woodworking programs. He will be missed. Condolences to Laura, his family and friends.
