HAROLD SCHULTZ 06/01/1938 - 11/21/2025 Harold "'Harry" Schultz, age 87, of Comfrey died on November 21, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Visitation was on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. and continued on Monday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey. Funeral Service was held at New Hope Lutheran Church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment was at New Hope Salem Lutheran Cemetery near Comfrey. Arrangements were with Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey. Harold "Harry" Gene Schultz was born on June 1, 1938, on the family farm in Salem Township, the son of Otto and Pearl (Itzenga) Schultz. He attended country school for a year and then Darfur Public School until the 7th grade and then attended and graduated from Comfrey High School. Harry was drafted in 1959 and served in the Marine Corp. He married Carol Engelking on October 7, 1961, following his return from service. Harry worked for General Dynamics Electrical for 10 years before they returned to the family farm near Comfrey. Harry was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church and served on Comfrey School Board for 15 years. He enjoyed visiting with people, coffee time with friends, animals - especially his deer. He is survived by his children - Kim Schultz of Apple Valley and Jason (Rachael) Schultz of Lakeville; grandchildren - Kenadee (Harry Oie) Schultz and Jayla (Joey) Maas; two great-grandchildren; his "Sweetie" - Elaine Anderson of Ormsby; and his sister - Leone (Richard) Elgaard of Shoreview. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife - Carol.
