David M. Froberg

1962 - 2022

David M. Froberg, 60, of Hauber Avenue, St. Marys, died on Thursday, June 23, 2022 following  a brief illness. 
Dave was born in St. Marys on April 6, 1962, a son of the late George, Jr. and Anna Fisher Froberg.
David was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, class of 1980, and a member of the Sacred Heart Church. He was a member of the CMF, PFL, and had many friends who looked forward to spending time with him at Dino's Place.
For the past several years, Dave was employed at the St. Marys Catholic Elementary School, where he was loved by the students and staff and formed many friendships. Though he was a simple man, he was highly intelligent and had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew him. He never turned down a snack, and could often be found watching Pro Wrestling, and was an avid San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed watching English Soccer/Football. Dave loved working at the school and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Dave is survived by one brother, Andrew "Andy" Froberg of St. Marys.  
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lance Froberg.
A Mass of Christian Burial for David M. Froberg will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Thomas Curry, OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Association, Sacred Heart Church, or the Elk County Catholic School System.
