Sandra A. Burgeson

1939 - 2021

Sandra A. Burgeson, 82, of 717 Horner Road, Wilcox, died Monday night, December 20, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital-Erie following a brief illness. She was born October 16, 1939 in Warren, a daughter to the late John A. and Georgia Seifert Green. On February 15, 1958 in Warren, she married Robert E. Burgeson. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1991.
Sandy had lived in the Wilcox area for the last 54 years. She was a 1957 graduate of Warren High School. She was a member of the Wilcox Presbyterian Church the Dorcus Circle and the Wilcox Senior Center. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her trips to the casino.
Sandra is survived by her five children; Gail Burgeson of Wilcox, Martin Burgeson of Wilcox, Janice, Mrs. Phil Muroski of Johnsonburg, Todd Burgeson and his wife Chrystal of Wilcox and Tammy, Mrs. Fred Wonderling of Wilcox. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a sister Karleen Castagnino of Warren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by brothers Raymond, Clarence and Duane Green and sisters Burdessa Angelos, Velma Roberts, Sarah Jane Pirrillo and Lois Pope.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service for Sandra A. Burgeson to be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg on Friday December 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. There will be no public visitation.
Interment will be in Wilcox Cemetery, Wilcox, PA and will be private.
