Eileen Doherty Obituary
Eileen was a kind and gentle person who had a passion for reading, writing, painting, gardening, baking and spending time at the beaches in Delaware.
Eileen earned an associate's degree from the University of Maryland in English and was employed at Time Life as an editor.
Eileen was a devout Christian and very involved in her church, Peace Lutheran in Waldorf, Maryland, where she was involved in prayer groups, was a newsletter editor and made many lifelong friends whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Genevieve Agnes Doherty (Aubol) and Robert Allen Doherty.
Survived by her husband of 47 years, whom she cherished, Hillen Morgan, Jr. and her children, Justin Morgan (Mary), Samantha Knott (Charles) and Michael Morgan, as well as four grandchildren whom she adored, Kathryn Morgan, Devin and Ryan Knott, and Alexis Dagnino.
Eileen will be remembered during a visitation to be held at Raymond Funeral Home in La Plata, Maryland on November 20, 2025, at 1:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.
