Justin Silloway

1977 - 2025

Justin David Silloway passed away at home, surrounded by family, on October 11th, after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was born on his family's farm in Randolph Center, Vermont on April 6, 1977. In the 6th grade, he moved to Sonoma, California with his mother, Lee Whitney, and spent his time between Vermont and California from then on. After graduating from Sonoma Valley High School, he spent a few years working in Vermont for Can Do Events and Killington Ski Resort. When he returned to California, he began his career as a carpenter, and then construction manager in San Francisco and later Lake Tahoe.
He loved driving fast vehicles – dirt bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles, cars, side by sides. He loved the outdoors, bird hunting, tinkering and spending time with his boys. He always loved going home to visit the family farm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kristen Bailey Silloway; his sons Jacob and Joshua Silloway of Sonoma, CA, and stepdaughter Adriana Hernandez of Sacramento, CA; his father David Silloway (Lynne Gately), his brothers John Silloway (Bethany), Mark Fish (Kelly Wheatley), Robert Fish – all of Randolph, VT; his sister-in-law Linda Fish of Ausable, NY; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Aaron Hellman, also of Minden, NV. He also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Kimber and Remy. He was predeceased by his mother, Lee Whitney, and his brother Michael Fish.
A celebration of Justin's life will take place on May 8th of 2026 on his family's farm.
