Michael DUNHAM Obituary
September 1, 1949 - April 15, 2016
Sonoma native Michael Travis Dunham, born to Ethelyne and Robert Dunham on September 1, 1949, passed peacefully away on April 15, 2016 with his son Robert and his loving partner Lynne by his side. He was 66 years old. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
He lived his entire life in Sonoma attending all local schools, and was a retired Painter from the Sonoma Developmental Center, after 38 years.
Michael loved music; collected guitars and leaves a fine collection of cars, Fords being his favorite. His favorite pastime was spent with family at gatherings and especially loved attending his grandsons' baseball games and his granddaughter's cheerleading competitions. He liked to travel and recently went to Disneyland with his grandchildren, and went to Hawaii and Georgia with his partner, Lynne.
He is survived by his sons, Robert (Joy) and Caleb (Christina); and by his daughter, Tahney Dunham. Michael was the proud "Papa Mike" to his grandchildren, Michael, D.J., Meagan, Travis, Kenliegh, Calen, Luke, Brylie and Harley. He is also survived by the love of his life, Lynne.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476.
Donations may be made in Michaels name to Hospice by the Bay, 190 West Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476.

Michael I love you to the moon and the stars and back. I miss the twinkle in your beautiful blue eyes, your wonderful smile, the sound of your laughter, your warm hands, and your arms that wrapped your love around me. Nothing is the same without you. The sky isn't blue, and the sun doesn't shine. My heart aches for you.
