SOUTH BEND - Clarence L. Frick, Jr., 91, passed away at 4:11 am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 in his home with his family by his side.
Clarence was born on November 8, 1929 in South Bend to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Stephan) Frick, Sr. On June 13, 1948, Clarence married Dolores J. (Thomas) who preceded him in death on February 19, 2018. Clarence was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Frick; brothers, Donald, Melvin, Delbert, and Raymond; and son-in-law, Patrick Culp.
Clarence is survived by his daughter, Deanna Culp; sons, Ron (Mari) and Don (Renae); grandchildren, Ryan Frick, Branden (Amy) Frick, Stacy (Simon) Rodriguez, Kyle Culp, Christina Dewey, Crystal (Bob) Barrett, and Curtis (Shannon) Frick; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Clarence and Dolores were married for over 69 years and together they traveled many times to England, Belgium and other countries abroad. They also enjoyed visiting the islands of Aruba, Trinidad and Bahamas. He was the owner of Frick Construction and had previously worked at Fiberlux Company. He was pastor of Michiana Apostolic Lighthouse for 22 years. After retiring, he attended Walkerton United Pentecostal Church and was currently a member of Calvary Chapel Church of Granger.
Visitation will be from 4-6pm on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN 46614. A funeral service will be at 11 am on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the funeral home. Clarence will be buried next to his wife following the service at Southlawn Cemetery.
