March 2, 1943 - Sept. 29, 2018
SOUTH BEND, IN - Dennis Jack Davis, 75, of South Bend died Saturday, September 29 in Hospice House following an illness. Dennis was born March 2, 1943 in South Bend to the late Elizabeth (Balint) and Charles M. Davis and was a lifetime area resident. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Williamson (John) of Parma Heights, OH; his grandson, Johnny Williamson; and his brother, James M. Davis of South Bend. Dennis was a Class of ‘61 graduate of South Bend Central High School and received an Associates Degree from Valparaiso Technical Institute.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6 in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., with Rev. Carl Hettler of Epworth Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Private committal services and burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 5 and one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
