Edward Ora Ridenour

MISHAWAKA - Edward Ora Ridenour, 74, of Alabama Street, Mishawaka, passed away at his home on January 10th. He was born on January 29th, 1937 in South Bend, Indiana to Edward and Lola (Draves) Ridenour who preceded him in death. On May 26th, 1962, he married the former Sharon K. VanBelleghem in Mishawaka. She passed away in 2003. Mr. Ridenour worked for Oliver Plow. He then was a setup man for the Wheelabrator Corporation. He also worked at Dodge Manufacturing. He worked at Associates until he retired. He also ran a small engine repair shop until he passed away. He was a devoted grandfather and father. He was a member of the VFW Post # 360, Mishawaka. He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Kimberly) Ridenour of South Bend and Robert (Kim) Ridenour of Granger. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha, and Ashleigh; one brother, Randy (Patty Ann) Ridenour and two sisters, Suzie Kyle and Patty Lou Keller. Mr. Ridenour was a veteran of the United States Army. Funeral services for Mr. Ridenour will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 16th at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka where friends will be received two hours prior to the services, Monday. Burial will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
