MISHAWAKA, IN - Evelyn “Eloise” Helpingstine, 101, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sprenger Healthcare of Mishawaka, Indiana.
Eloise was born July 2, 1917 to Earl and Lucy (Crane) Bryant. On May 17, 1947 she married Otto Helpingstine and he passed away September 22, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a daughter-in-law, Millie Redburn.
Eloise is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (James) Holmes of Mishawaka; three sons, John Redburn of Ellenton, Florida, Patrick (Eveie) Helpingstine of Decatur, Alabama, and Dale (Judy) Helpingstine of Cassopolis, Michigan; and loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
There will be no local services. Services will be held in Illinois where Eloise will be laid to rest next to her family in her childhood church cemetery, Harvey's Point Cemetery, Kell, Illinois.
Local arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
