Flora Carroll March 18, 1954 - April 22, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Flora Carroll, 60, of South Bend, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her home. Flora was born March 18, 1954, in Drew, MS, to David and Mary (King) Bennett. She married Ollie Wallace and to that union three sons were born. She later married Eddie Carroll and to that union a daughter was born. While living in South Bend, she worked for a judge at the Work One Unemployment office for many years. Flora leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Chris Bennett and David Wallace, her daughter, Lacretia Carroll, her companion, Willie Shears, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014, at New Cornerstone Baptist Church, with visitation occurring at 10:00 a.m. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
