WAKARUSA - Florence A. Hepler Fleck, 88, 300 W. Washington St., Wakarusa, IN, passed away peacefully, at 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa. She was born on May 4, 1922, in Kosciusko County, to Fred O. and Mary Louise (Mays) Hepler. She had lived in Nappanee until she moved to Goshen in the 60's. She married Richard Fleck on June 29, 1963. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1988. She was a graduate of Etna Green High School. Florence retired from CTS Corporation in Elkhart and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 sisters, Ruth (Merlin) Yoder, Nappanee, and Donnabelle (Edward) Monhaut, Nappanee; 5 brothers, Eldon Hepler, Jacksonville, FL., Allen (Marge) Hepler, South Bend, Willard "Bill" Hepler, Nappanee, Richard (Marlene) Hepler, Apache Junction, AZ., Russell (Ardala) Hepler, LaGrange; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and a brother, James Hepler. Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Russell Hepler, a brother of Florence, will lead the service. Burial will be at Oakridge Cemetery in Goshen.
