MISHAWAKA, IN -
Gemma R. (Wendy) Evans, 60, of Mishawaka earned her angel wings on March 12, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her precious mother, Ellen (Faye) Pridemore, her father, brother “Skeeter” and dear Aunt Jackie Chapman.
On April 18, 1981, as Gemma Dove, she married her love, Tommy (Tom) Evans. Surviving along with her husband are their children, TJ Evans, Sabrenna Mathis (Dave Lane), Dearl (Bud) Evans (Marissa Barnett), David Evans (Harvey Hermosura), Steven Evans (Amber Evans), and LaDonna Evans (Michael Grenoble); a brother, Jesse Pridemore (Kristie Pridemore); several special in-laws including Zora (Buster) Sult, and several nieces and nephews, as well as 16 precious grandchildren: Jasmine, Damien, DJ, Trentin (her charmin), Christian, Garrett, Gabryel, Ryley, Keegan, Rae-Lynn (Bella), Briella, Kendall, Kylee, Jayden, Paige and last but certainly not least, Kaleb who will share in her memory along with her grand pups, Sprout, Dumpling, Nala, Bear, and Sapphire
Wendy was a full time mother and greatly valued her children.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 1:00-4:00 PM in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka; the service follows at 4:00 PM, with Rev. Adam Sult officiating. To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.hahnfuneralhomes.com.
