April 6, 1954 - April 28, 2018
EDWARDSBURG - Gregory Alan Lung, 64, passed on Saturday, April 28, 2018 surrounded by family, after a valiant battle with cancer. Greg was born in South Bend, Indiana on April 6, 1954 to Mervin and Dorothy Lung.
Greg attended Penn High School, excelling in wrestling and track, before graduating in 1973. Along with stock car racing and trains, Greg enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family but was known for his generosity, kindness, and giving of himself to others.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela, and four children, Rachel (Abram) Sollman, Andrew (Jenn) Cook, Elizabeth (Adam) Bliss, and Richard (Carol) Cook, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Mervin and is survived by his mother, Dorothy, along with his siblings, David (Martha) Lung, Carol (Tom) Long, and James (Melanie) Lung, and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday, May 2 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. A viewing will also be from 10 am to 11 am Thursday, May 3, at Grace Bible Church, Elkhart where his Funeral Service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.

I am very sorry to hear about Gregs passing. Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Any person who knew Greg knows that he was a kind and gentleman. I had the pleasure of cutting trees with Greg during a storm and will always remember the standup person that he was. May God have mercy on his soul.
