Jaime Chamberlin Obituary

SOUTH BEND - Jaime MacPherson "Jim" Chamberlin, 67, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. He was born on Aug. 2, 1941 in Battle Creek, MI to Gordon and Lucy (Loman) Chamberlin. He was employed at Carside in Culver City, CA as marketing manager until his retirement in 2002. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Member of the St. Joseph Valley Railroad Club in Mishawaka, graduate of California State University Northridge in 1968 and receive his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1980. On Feb. 27, 1981 in Sacramento, CA, he married Carolyn H. Baum she survives. He his also survived by children, Shannon and John; Jaime and Eric, both of San Diego, CA, Kelly and Michael of Lancaster, CA, Laura and Kevin of Granger, IN, Donald and Naela of South Bend, Luke and Cynthia, John and Jeanne, both of Rocky River, OH; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Gordon Chamberlin of California. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, with Reverend Richard Dunn officiating, and where friends may call two hours before services. Burial will be at Rice Cemetery. Memorials may be made to CLL.
