SOUTH BEND - James E. Bucher, Sr., 69, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017, in his home.
Jim was born November 24, 1947, in South Bend, to the late Fred and Genevieve (Jasok) Bucher.
On January 21, 2001, Jim married his loving wife, Jacqueline (Mosley) Bucher of South Bend, who survives; along with friend, Bill (Barbara) Waite of South Bend; brother, Fred Bucher, and sister, Barbara (John) Bronson.
Jim retired from the Bendix and Honeywell Corp. after 30 years of service. He enjoyed camping, listening to country music, and swimming at the beach. Most of all, Jim loved helping his friends.
Visitation for Jim will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Funeral Ceremony to begin 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
