MISHAWAKA - Jean Ann Morrical, 52, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday morning, August 25, 2016, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Jean was born July 4, 1964 in Mishawaka, to Jack and Janice (Michels) Morrical. She lived in the area her entire life.
Jean loved children and was employed as a nanny. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger. Jean was artistic and had a beautiful singing voice. She was loved by all.
Several years ago, Jean developed an illness which confined her to a wheelchair. She formed a support group named Hi Society for those with similar challenges.
Jean's surviving family includes her mother, Janice Morrical; three siblings, David (Sandra) Morrical, Julie (Luis) Lamar and Brett Morrical; nieces and nephews, Victoria, Tristan, Christian, Braden and Reagan; extended family members; and many wonderful friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Jack Morrical.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 am in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, with Monsignor William Schooler officiating. Burial of Jean's cremated remains will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Jean's family will receive friends Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 am in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Pius X Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Care, Mishawaka.

Dear Janice,
I am so very sorry to learn that your daughter, Jean, died.
When our families lived on Altgeld Street, David, Julie and Jean played with Lisa, Ron and Greg.
I believe our kids played with the Shulmier kids also. They lived a few houses down from you.
Our kids would play outside all day and we rarely worried about them.

Beautiful lady inside and out. My son (5 years old) loved her and always looked forward to seeing her everyday because he just knew she enjoyed his conversation (she was so kind to him and he was so shy). I enjoyed our interaction as well.
My prayers are for all of Jean's family and friends, such a angel is hard to lose but she has everlasting life now with our Savior.

Janice, David, Julie, Brett, and family - I am saddened to hear of Jean's passing. I can only take solace in knowing that she is dancing in her daddy's arms. May God ease your pain in losing Jean.

I am so sorry for your loss . I was friends with Jean on Facebook and never met face to face , although it was in our plans to do so . She was the kindest and sweetest person ever . She truly was a angel . Jean , we will meet in heaven someday . May our Heavenly Father bring peace to her family .
