Joan Glase Obituary
April 30, 1927 - April 12, 2018
MISHAWAKA - It is with sadness that the family of Joan Dorothy Glase announces her passing after an extended illness, at her residence in Mishawaka, IN on April 12, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Surviving are her sons, Page and Thomas of South Bend, and Scott Glase and his wife, Sandra and three grandchildren, Michael, Christina, and Catherine of Fort Myers, FL.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Page Bentley Glase; her parents, Harry and Florence Wolter; and sister, Harriett Ellen Conner.
Born in Waukegan, IL, April 30, 1927, Joan graduated DePauw University in Greencastle, IN and married Page Glase, July 23, 1949. They moved to South Bend, IN where she worked for the Voor, Jackson, Grant, McMichael law firm. She was an active parent with East Side Little League, member of the local Elks club, and enjoyed theater, golfing, and being with her family. Joan lived a long and fulfilling life and will be missed by her family.
In remembrance of her life, the family will hold a private service at a later date. Donations in her name may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, South Bend, IN.
