John Radzikowski Obituary
SOUTH BEND - John Radzikowski, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in his residence. John was born on October 15, 1920, to the late Marion and Josephine (Drziewski) Radzikowski in South Bend. He was preceded in death by his son, James; daughter, Sharon; granddaughter, Kari Ann; six brothers, and five sisters. On February 14, 1942 he married Bertha V. (Cholaj) in South Bend, she survives along with their daughter, Bonnie Robakowski; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws, Phyllis and Tony Rulli of South Bend, Marion and Veronica Bohacz of Bronson, MI, and Betty Wallace of Florida, and John Cholaj and Georgianna of South Bend. John served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the Army during World War II, he worked at RACO for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church, VFW 8748, and FOP 86. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bed, is assisting the family. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.

Granpa John was a very loved man.I remember going to his and grandmas house when I was young, and him playing his harmanica,for me and my sister.I thought it was so cool.I love you grandpa john and will always remember you.Rest in peace.Love Crystal Marie

Dearest Grandmother, Family, Friends;
We are praying that our LORD and Saviour comforts and imparts mercy and grace in your time of need. Know that we all love and cherish the memories that GRANDFATHER gave to us all. He was a man of integrity and always encouraged us all with words, music, smiles, and hugs. JOHNNY RED impacted all whom he came into contact with. Let us all take time to reflect upon the life that we have and give thanks to the FATHER. Many have gone before us that we love; let us live in such a way that THE LORD says "JOB WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT."

Aunt Bertha and Bonnie. I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle John. Please know that you & all your family members are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have many fond memories from my childhood of Uncle Johnny and truly enjoyed his gift of laughter, music and story-telling.
May God bless you and comfort you in this time of sorrow. I'm sure he's looking down at all of you and sending you his love.
