Kenneth South Obituary
LAKEVILLE - Kenneth L. South, 81, of 21915 Riley Road, died after a sudden illness at 11:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. He was born on May 23, 1926, in South Bend, the late Asa and Daisy (Hissong) South. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. He had lived most of his life in the Marshall and St. Joseph County area. He worked at the Pentagon in Washington, DC, as a clerical worker and typist. He loved "ballroom Dancing" and participated in a club in South Bend where he helped teach ballroom dances to others. Survivors include a sister, Ellen Seltzer of South Bend, and his companion, Michael Quinn of South Bend. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services will be held today, Nov. 28. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Electronic condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected]. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, Argos.
