“Rea” Browning

Maureen “Rea” Browning died in the home of her daughter after an extended illness. She was born in South Bend to Maurice and Helene Bright. On November 30, 1957 she married Robert N. Browning who died on Dec. 1, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, her birth parents, Richard Walker and Dorothy Walker Cole; her brothers, Jimmy Walker and John Walker; and a sister, Martha Barlow.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Kathy Albro (Don) and Jeannina Rodrigues both of Gulfport, and Margaret Johnson (Ron) of Las Lunas, NM: her siblings, Lucy Brenner of West Palm Beach, Janis Banicki and George Walker of South Bend, Michelle Otolski of Mishawaka, Ralph Ballard of Niles, Susan McClain of Pueblo, CO, and Lawrence Cole of California, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Brett Funeral Home, St. Pete is handling the funeral.

Services will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in St. Pete, online Tuesday at 11am. Donations may be made in Rea's name to any Hospice or any animal rescue.

Mrs. Browning and Mr. Browning were the best neighbors for over 25 years we could always count on them.
They will be truly missed. Rest well Mrs.B say Hi to Mr. Browning and Daisy. We love you. Monica, Frank Ashley, Jaliyah, Jayce and Jourdan. ❤
