I always enjoyed working with Pete when I was the Marshall Co.Welfare Director because I found him to be not only fair, but also respectful to his clients and my staff. I am sadden to learn of his passing. My sympathy to not only his family , but also to the citizens of Marshall County.

To Pete's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort at this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss. Pete was a great friend and neighbor; a hard working man who treated others with kindness and respect. I never saw him when he didn't have a smile and enthusiastic greeting. We always felt uplifted after seeing Pete, even if it was only a minute or two....and his legacy lives on as he passed those traits on to another Pete [and I know he impacted many others]. In our mind's eye, We can still see Pete walking his dogs regularly through the 30 acres adjacent to us.......and push mowing that 30 acres every evening in the fall for about 3 months straight. A down to earth great man with a great family. You have blessed many in our community and beyond.
